Classroom Expectations
- Students must be in classroom at 8:50 to start the day. It doesn't count if students are in the building somewhere else at 8:50, unless they have gotten approval through checking in with classroom staff.
- Cell phones, iPods, and other electronics are NOT allowed to be used during the school day. If they are seen, staff will turn them into Mrs. Knoll. She will contact parents to make arrangements for pick up.
- Students are expected to follow the Westwood Way; Be safe, Be Kind, Be Your Best and Be a Paws-itive learner.
- Homeroom students are expected to journal Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Journals will be collected on Thursdays. Students who do not complete this assignment will make it up during activity times. Remember September's word of the month is responsibility.
- Homework assignments are expected to be completed on time.
- Students are expected to make Westwood rock by serving as role models.
- Most of all students are expected to find joy in learning, feel safe, and love to participate.
